Spirit of Canada

Derek Hatfield has represented Canada in the international sailboat racing scene for a number of years now. In 2010 his boat, Spirit of Canada, competed in a grueling sinlge-handed, around the world race called the 2010 Velux 5 Oceans Race. We put together a site that documented his preparations as well as a blog that chronicled Derek’s progress around the world.
